UN Climate Summit

Building on our recent announcement of new sustainability goals, the UN Climate Summit held this week provided an opportunity for Kellogg to further demonstrate our commitment toward responsible sourcing and conservation of natural resources.

The UN Climate Summit was held Tuesday, Sept. 23, in New York City, and it drew heads of state, policy leaders, civil society and multinational CEOs from around the world in addition to the UN's top climate officials, NGOs and executives from global leaders in the consumer packaged goods industry. Together, public and private officials pledged to take meaningful actions in addressing the risks of climate change.

In attendance were Chairman and CEO John Bryant, who announced a commitment toward helping 15,000 smallholder farmers increase adoption of Climate-Smart Agricultural practices. Also attending from Kellogg were Diane Holdorf, Chief Sustainability Officer, and a Senior Sustainability Manager.

Captured in this video are images of New York City and the UN Climate Summit as shared by John and Diane, who recorded what it was like to attend such a momentous event.
