CHERRY HILL, NJ—M&T Bank hired Jerry Franz as a senior private banker for its Wilmington Trust team in the company’s Cherry Hill, N.J. office. He works with high-net-worth clients in Southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia area, providing financial advice, personalized service, and access to a complete range of banking and custom credit solutions offered by M&T Bank.

Franz has over two decades of experience in the banking industry, specializing in real estate, commercial banking, personal lending, and wealth preservation strategies for individuals and business owners. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Franz was a private banker at PNC Bank for ten years. Earlier in his career, he worked as a commercial banker at Carnegie Bank and Chemical Bank.

He received an MBA from Tulane University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of New Orleans.

Since 2006, Franz has served on the board of directors for the Health Promotion Council. He is also a member of the Union League of Philadelphia.

In his free time, Franz is a triathlete and cycling instructor.
