Cerda and Do are based in the company’s Costa Mesa, Calif. office, and will focus on municipal finance
COSTA MESA, CALIF — Wilmington Trust hired Cynthia Cerda and Dominic Do to bolster the company’s Municipal Corporate Trust team on the West Coast. Cerda joins as a public finance relationship manager, and Do was hired as a trust associate. Both will be based in Wilmington Trust’s Corporate Trust office in Costa Mesa.
“Cynthia and Dominic are great additions to our Municipal Corporate Trust team,” said John Deleray, Wilmington Trust’s director of new business development for the West Coast region. “Cynthia’s experience working on numerous types of public finance transactions, and Dominic’s corporate trust background will be very helpful as we continue our rapid growth throughout the West Coast.”
Wilmington Trust opened its Corporate Trust office in California in 2011, which has grown into one of the company’s top performing corporate trust offices in the U.S. Wilmington Trust has become a primary transaction agent for a number of public entities and large corporations.
CYNTHIA CERDA
In her role as a public finance relationship manager, Cerda will manage municipal bond transactions throughout the West Coast region. She comes to Wilmington Trust from BNY Mellon, where she was a public finance transaction management specialist in the Corporate Trust Department. Previously, she was trust administrator for public finance deals at BNY Mellon.
Cerda earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Long Beach.

DOMINIC DO
As a trust associate, Do will assist with day-to-day administration of public finance deals. Do joins Wilmington Trust from BNY Mellon where he was a corporate trust administrator. He also served in the U.S. Army.
He received a bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, and law from California State Polytechnic University.
