Mazda6 continues to grow in Canada thanks to its unique ability to

meet a wide variety of consumer needs. Available in sedan or 5-door

hatchback, the 2008 Mazda6 combines fun-to-drive vehicle dynamics

with style and functionality.

The Mazda6 is an attractive family vehicle not only because of

the choice of conventional sedan styling or hatchback functionality,

but also because it is available with a selection of powertrains and trim

grades.

The Mazda6 and Mazda6 Sport hatchback are available with

either a 156-horsepower, 154 lb.-ft. of torque, 2.3-litre four-cylinder

engine or a sporty 3.0-litre V6 engine with 212 horsepower and 197 lb.-

ft. of torque

Both models offer an optional 5-speed electronically-controlled

automatic transmission on four-cylinder models, while the optional

automatic transmission on the V6 models is a 6-speed.

Every Mazda6 comes equipped with numerous standard

features, including: next-generation front airbags with sensors that

detect seat-belt use, driver seat position and passenger-side weight;

four-wheel disc brakes; air conditioning; power windows; cruise control

with steering wheel mounted controls; tilt and telescopic steering

wheel, to name just a few.

Heated leather seats, automatic climate controls, and 7-speaker

Bose AM/FM 6-disc CD changer are a few of the additional features

included in the top-of-the-line GT versions.

Seventeen-inch alloy wheels come standard on all Mazda6

models except the base four-cylinder version (16-inch steel wheels with

covers). Eighteen-inch alloy wheels with 215/45R18 tires and Xenon

headlights are standard top-of-the-line V6 Mazda6 sedan and

hatchback models. A voice activated navigation system is an optional

feature available on GT-V6 model.

Among the numerous standard features on the 2008 Mazda6 is a

3-year roadside assistance program. Customers can feel secure

knowing that wherever they travel throughout North America should

the need arise they can obtain towing, winching, battery boosting,

emergency fuel delivery, and tire changing services. They will even

get help if locked out of the vehicle. Travel planning services and

emergency travel expense reimbursement are included in the

roadside assistance program.

The 2008 Mazda6 is covered by a 3-year or 80,000km vehicle

warranty that covers every part of the vehicle except those subject to

normal wear.

Additional warranties cover powertrain and safety restraint

components for a period of 5 years or 100,000km, body sheet metal

perforation for 5 years unlimited kilometres and selected emission

control components for 8 years or 128,000km.
