DALLAS, TX – June 16, 2025 – Kimberly-Clark (NASDAQ: KMB) today released its 2024 Sustainability Report, highlighting its recent progress toward its 2030 environmental and social impact goals.
Key highlights of the company's 2024 progress include:
- Social Impact: The company’s brand programs, combined with global and local partnerships, positively impacted more than 120 million people in need. This included helping empower women and girls, enhancing maternal and child health, and working to improve access to safe water and sanitation.
- Energy & Climate: Kimberly-Clark increased its use of renewable electricity to over 39% of global purchases, accelerating its onsite solar program as well as establishing new virtual Power Purchase Agreements. The company has reduced its Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 43% since 2015.
- Responsible Sourcing: Updated its Forests, Land and Agriculture Policy to reinforce its commitment to forest conservation and further reduced its use of Natural Forest Fibers, achieving an overall reduction of 40% since 2015.
- Water Stewardship: Reduced its water use by 55% in water-stressed areas since 2015, surpassing the company’s 50% target.

Looking ahead, Kimberly-Clark has set an ambition to be 100% Natural Forest Free across its product portfolio beyond 2030, with plans to be more than halfway to this goal by the end of the decade.
