Doctors at Banner Health view the disaster from a different lens, having been deployed to previous disasters across the country tasked with rescue and recovery.

Steven Reinhart, DO, Emergency Medicine physician at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix shares his insights on what it takes to volunteer with Search and Rescue.

Dr. Reinhart’s experience ranges from California earthquakes to searching through the rubble following 9-11 and even rescuing people after Hurricane Katrina.
