TORRINGTON, Wyo. – A new family medicine physician who also specializes in obstetrics has joined Banner Health Clinic in Torrington bringing new experiences to the community. 
Erica Barrows-Nees, MD, joined Banner Health Clinic on Sept. 30. Her medical interests include full-family medical care, obstetrics and gynecology. She moved to Torrington from Tacoma, Wash., where she completed a fellowship in rural family medicine with obstetrics at Tacoma Family Medicine.

Dr. Barrows-Nees graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and received her undergraduate degree in horticulture from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. She has extensive volunteer experience in the United States and overseas in both medical clinics and in horticulture. She is originally from Evanston, Wyo.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, travelling, biking and spending time with her husband and their dog.
