Aspen Dental was honored to be recognized for its ongoing support of U.S. veterans by the Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars during the organization’s annual conference on June 6, 2024 in Dallas, TX.
Aspen Dental has partnered with the Texas VFW to provide information, resources, and care to local veterans through Aspen’s network of more than 63 offices in Texas. Over the past year, Aspen has also had the pleasure of hosting hundreds of Texas veterans and their families at numerous events, including the NASCAR Cup Series and Championship races at the Texas Motor Speedway.
Millions of Americans didn’t go to the dentist last year and live in places where the is little or no access to care. Other barriers get in the way, too – like cost, lack of insurance, and fear. Aspen Dental aims to break down barriers to better care for our patients, particularly for veterans, who don’t receive dental care through the VA unless they are 100% disabled, have a service-related injury to their mouth or were a prisoner of war.
Since 2014, Aspen Dental practices across the country have donated more than $26 million in dentistry and helped more than 33,000 veterans and people in need as part of the Healthy Mouth Movement.
