CHANHASSEN, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Life Time Fitness, Inc. (NYSE:LTM), The Healthy Way of Life Company, today announced the seventh annual Life Time Corporate Charity Challenge, in which relay teams will compete at the Life Time Minneapolis Triathlon to help raise money for charity.

A division of the Life Time Minneapolis Triathlon, which is set for Saturday, July 14, the Corporate Charity Challenge was established to promote a healthy and active way of life among local companies while delivering much needed financial support to non-profit organizations.

Of the $1,000 entry fee, one hundred percent is donated to charity as follows: $250 is donated to the participating company’s designated charity, $250 to the Life Time Foundation, and the remaining $500 from each team’s entry fee establishes a “Winners Pool”, which will be awarded to the designated charity of the top three performing teams.

Corporate Charity Challenge participants compete as relay teams on the Life Time Minneapolis Triathlon international distance course, which begins and ends at Minneapolis’ Lake Nokomis and includes a 1.5-kilometer (0.9-mile) swim, 40-kilometer (24.8-mile) bike and 10-kilometer (6.2-mile) run.
