Partnerships Help Fulfill the Needs of Warriors and Family Members

JACKSONVILLE, FL — Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) provides warriors with free access to numerous programs and services. These resources help them thrive in civilian life. However, no single organization can meet all the needs of America’s wounded, injured and ill veterans. That is why WWP has partnered with 200 best-in-class veteran and military service organizations since 2012. Together, we can provide comprehensive programs and services to empower wounded veterans and families.

“Through key investments in America’s veteran and military service communities, we are building resilient veteran families,” said WWP CEO Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Mike Linnington. “This support will ensure that no warriors are left behind in their recoveries.”

WWP’s Annual Warrior Survey guides us in identifying the needs of our warriors and family members. We use the information to inform our programs and services and identify where to partner with other organizations that can complement and fill gaps in WWP’s direct programs and services. We also invest in partners’ efforts to raise awareness of warriors’ needs.

The organizations we partner with offer programs and services which address the following focus areas in communities across the country:

  • Brain health programs
  • Specialized resources for women veterans
  • Connection and volunteerism opportunities for warriors and their families
  • Children and family resiliency
  • Financial wellness and economic empowerment resources
  • Homelessness and housing Insecurity
  • Quality of life
  • Suicide prevention
  • Whole health and wellness programs

Helen Keller is quoted as saying, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Learn more about the organizations WWP supports.
