Wilmington Trust Promotes Mark Andersen to Senior Wealth Advisor, New England Region
Boston, MA - July 21 2020—Wilmington Trust, a leader in wealth management and corporate and institutional services, promotes Mark Andersen to senior wealth advisor in the New England region. Based in Boston, Mark is responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, business owners, and foundations and endowments throughout the region. Mark also coordinates the various services his clients require based on their unique needs, including investment management, planning, trust, private banking, and family office services. Mark will continue to work closely with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies to help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.
 
Mark joined Wilmington Trust in 2013 as managing director and head of Fiduciary Services and managed the New England team of fiduciary advisors delivering planning, trust, investment management, family engagement, and family office services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners in the region. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Mark practiced law in the trusts and estates practice group of the Boston law firm of Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP. In that role, he advised clients on estate and gift tax planning, family wealth transfers, fiduciary obligations, and trust and estate administration. Prior to his legal career, Mark was a financial analyst at General Electric and Merrill Lynch. 
 
Mark holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and policy studies. Mark is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
