Wilmington Trust hired Todd Freeman as a private client advisor for the firm’s Wealth Advisory office in Syracuse, N.Y. He will provide wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and foundations.
Freeman has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Most recently, he worked as a relationship manager with Key Private Bank. Previously, he worked at HSBC Securities, Mass Mutual Financial Group, and Morgan Stanley.
“Todd brings a diverse background and skill set to our office here in Syracuse” said Ken Williams, Wilmington Trust’s regional manager for Wealth Advisory. “His focus on financial planning and asset protection fit in perfectly with our goals as an organization. He has a passion for this business, and Central New York, and we are excited to have him as part of our team.”
A key strategy of the Wealth Advisory is to work closely with the M&T Bank Commercial team in providing advice and value to business owners. “We are pleased to add a person with Todd’s experience and client-focus to our Syracuse team as we continue to add value for our clients,” said Allen Naples, M&T Bank regional president.
Freeman earned his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University. He is active in the community serving as board member for the Friends of the Central Library (FOCL) in Syracuse, and on the committee for the annual golf tournament fundraiser, the Enable Classic.
