Vice President of sales for Global Capital Markets in Europe

LONDON — Wilmington Trust appointed Fredrik Berg as vice president of sales for its Global Capital Markets team in Europe. Based in the firm’s London office, Berg will focus on business development in the Nordic Region and select European jurisdictions.

Berg joined Wilmington Trust in 2014 as a relationship manager for loan agency services clients across Europe. Previously, he was a loan agency relationship manager with the Royal Bank of Scotland, based in Singapore, and served clients throughout Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe.

“We’re very excited to have Fredrik join our business development team in London,” said Christophe Schroeder, senior vice president of Wilmington Trust’s Global Capital Markets international team. “His loan agency experience across multiple jurisdictions and background in commercial law will benefit our clients in Europe and specifically further our expansion into the Nordic Region.”

He earned a Bachelor of Commercial and Business Law from the University of Linköping, and a Master of Laws from the University of Stockholm.
