Stowe Mountain Resort: Stowe blends world-class skiing with timeless New England charm. Okemo Mountain Resort: Okemo is a family favorite in the Northeast, known for great snow, friendly staff, and terrain for all levels. With 122 trails, high-speed lifts with bubble covers, and snowmaking on 98% of the mountain, conditions are consistently top-notch. Off the slopes, enjoy tubing, the mountain coaster, and fun events—making Okemo a true winter escape for everyone.
Mount Snow: Mount Snow is Vermont’s closest big mountain resort to Boston and NYC, offering diverse terrain, modern lifts, and top-tier snowmaking. Skiers and riders come to Mount Snow for the events, après scene, family-friendly lodging, and Carinthia Parks – the only all-park mountain face in the East – featuring 80-100 features across eight distinct zones and 100+ acres of freestyle terrain. Designed for all skill levels, the parks are shaped by a creative and experienced team that builds everything from beginner-friendly lines to elite competition courses.
2025/26 OPENING DAY
Vermont’s iconic ski resorts – Stowe Mountain Resort, Okemo Mountain, and Mount Snow – will kick off the 2025/26 ski and ride season on target opening day Saturday, November 22. Whether you're chasing powder, carving corduroy, or here for the après atmosphere, this triple opening marks the start of the ski season across the Green Mountains. Opening dates are subject to change, based on weather and conditions.

Stowe Mountain Resort:

	Celebrating 90 Years of Ski & Ride at Stowe: This season marks the 90th anniversary of Stowe’s iconic Ski and Ride School, officially founded in 1936. We’ll kick off the birthday weekend on December 10, with a special instructor recognition event during our early-season Fresh Tracks banquet. The festivities continue all weekend with an Epic Pass Holder party, First Tracks access, and commemorative touches throughout the resort, including a custom-designed print, anniversary pins, and a special 90th logo.

	Elevated Dining Experience: This winter, guests will enjoy a refreshed Midway Lodge, featuring the debut of the all-new Tower 5 Bar. Blending modern style with a cozy mountain vibe, Tower 5 Bar brings new energy to one of Stowe’s most iconic gathering spots. Expect elevated après, craft cocktails, and local flavors. We’ve also added Base Camp Bites, a food truck offering street-style food inspired by Asian cuisine, to our culinary lineup.

	Seasons at Stowe: A year-round event series bringing guests together through music, food, art, and outdoor experiences that showcase the best of each season. This curated collection of seasonal celebrations will honor Vermont’s distinct flavor, culture, and community.

	Stowe Parks Turns 30: We’re celebrating 30 years of style, progression, and community in Stowe Parks with a special slopestyle event on Saturday, February 21. 
Okemo Mountain Resort:

	Okemo is Celebrating 70 Years of family fun on the mountain. Since opening in 1956, Okemo has been the go-to destination for generations of skiers and riders. From first turns to family traditions, Okemo has built a legacy rooted in warmth, community, and unforgettable mountain memories. This milestone season honors seven decades of snow-filled adventures, welcoming guests to be part of the celebration with special events, commemorative gear, and a look back at the moments that made Okemo a beloved winter home for so many.

	Trailside Munchies: Located on snow in Jackson Gore base area, Trailside Munchies will be your go-to spot for the best slopeside snacks and handheld favorites, powered by Nature Valley. 
Mount Snow:

	Mid-Season Block Party: Mount Snow is bringing the energy of its Summer Friday Block Party into winter with a new Base Area Block Party winter event. January 31, 2026, guests will enjoy a high-energy nighttime party in the base area featuring live music, food trucks, a torchlight parade, and disco tubing under the stars—all set against the snowy backdrop of the mountain. 
SIGNATURE EVENTS 2025/26
- Pass Holder Appreciation Weekend | December 12-13: We’re rolling out the red carpet for our Epic Pass Holders. Friday: Join us at Midway Base Lodge for our Pass Holder Party, featuring live music, festive food & drink, and special thank-you gifts. Then Saturday, start the morning with First Tracks from 8:00–9:00am on the Mountain Gondola.
- Winter Rendezvous Pride Run | January 22: Celebrate love, inclusion, and community during Stowe’s annual LGBTQIA+ event. Highlights include themed après at Midway and the 3rd Annual Pride Run down Gondolier at noon.
- Seasons at Stowe: Fireside with Ski Vermont | January 30-31: Join us at Midway Base Lodge for two days of local flavors, craft vendors, and live music. Grab a bite, sip something local, and warm up fireside as Tower 5 and Midway Café come alive.
- *NEW* Stowe Parks 30th Slopestyle | February: Celebrate 30 years of Stowe Parks! This throwback slopestyle event invites past and present crew members and fans to ride and spectate.
- Pass Holder First Tracks | March 13: Pass Holders (including Epic Day Pass Holders) are invited to load the Mansfield Gondola early from 8:00–9:00am, with the first 200 guests to enjoy complimentary breakfast sandwiches and giveaways!
- 70th Annual Sunrise Service | April 5: Celebrate Easter morning with a truly special nondenominational sunrise service on top of Vermont's highest peak, co-hosted with the Stowe Community Church. This long-standing tradition is open to all.
- Spring Bash + Pond Skim | April 11: Close out the season in splashy style! Watch (or join) the Pond Skim on Yucca Flats from 12:00–2:00pm, then head to Midway for a free outdoor concert from 3:00–6:00pm.
- Après Afternoons at The Bull | Every Saturday starting late December: NEW this season, Après Afternoons will be at The Bull! Kick back with local brews, live tunes, and a festive après scene perfect for capping off your day on the slopes.
- New Years Fireworks and Après for the Holidays | December 31: Ring in the New Year with après festivities, live entertainment, and a dazzling fireworks display over the slopes.
- *NEW* 70th Anniversary Birthday Bash | January 31: Join us as we celebrate 70 years of Okemo! Enjoy throwback fun, retro gear contests, live music, and birthday treats. It's our biggest party of the season—don’t miss this mountain-sized milestone.
- Okemo Pride Day | February 28: Celebrate love, visibility, and community at Okemo Pride Day! Festivities include a group ride, themed après at The Bull, and a mountain-wide show of support for LGBTQIA+ skiers and riders. All are welcome!
- Pass Holder Appreciation Party | March 8: We’re saying thank you to our Epic Pass Holders! Join us for an exclusive après party featuring live music, festive fare, and special giveaways. It’s our way of showing appreciation for our biggest fans.
- Let It Glow Winter Ice Festival | March 14: Step into a winter wonderland at our glowing ice celebration! Enjoy sparkling sculptures, LED-lit snow features, Ice Bar, Glow Tubing, and more.
- *NEW* Okemo Parks Halfpipe Jam | March 29: Show off your skills or cheer on local talent at this brand-new jam session in the halfpipe. Open to skiers and riders of all ages, this will be a celebration of freestyle culture at Okemo Parks with prizes, music, and park-style energy guaranteed.
- The Snowmelt: Slush Cup & Spring Fling | April 4: Celebrate the season’s final turns with our splashiest event! Test your luck across the Slush Cup Pond, then soak in the spring vibes with live music and après on the patio. Costumes highly encouraged!
- New Year’s Eve Celebration + Fireworks + Torchlight | December 31: Ring in the New Year with a nighttime celebration featuring live music, a torchlight parade, and a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the mountain.
- *NEW* Winter Block Party + Torchlight Parade | January 31: We’re bringing the energy of our summer block parties to a one-night, mid-winter celebration! Join us for a high-energy nighttime party in the base area featuring live music, food trucks, a torchlight parade, and disco tubing under the stars.
- Women's Weekend | February 7-8: A weekend dedicated to female empowerment, featuring clinics, on-mountain experiences, yoga, and après-ski activities throughout the resort.
- Pride Day | February 21: Join us as we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with a day of pride, community, and on-mountain fun.
- Carinthia Classic | March 14: The 17th Annual Carinthia Classic, powered by Rockstar Energy, is the must-see freestyle event of the season! This rail jam brings the region’s top freestyle skiers and riders together to battle it out for cash and bragging rights.
- Jack Jump World Championship | March 15: Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind Mount Snow tradition for nearly half a century! Watch (or compete!) as racers dual slalom on Jack Jumpers (a mono-ski attached to a seat) in a thrilling, head-to-head dash for the world championship title.
- Reggaefest | March 20-22: Celebrate spring with one of Mount Snow’s favorite traditions! Reggaefest brings live reggae music to the main stage all weekend long, filling the mountain with good vibes, dancing, and island-inspired energy.
- Pond Skim + Duct Tape Derby | March 21-22: This can't-miss Mount Snow tradition delivers big laughs and bold moves. Watch (or join!) costumed skiers skim a 100-foot pond on Saturday, and duct-tape-crafted derby cars race down the tubing hill on Sunday. Expect plenty of creativity, thrills, and unforgettable wipeouts.

All skiers and riders get access to the My Epic app, which includes Mobile Pass and Mobile Lift Tickets with hands-free access–scannable straight from your pocket. It features interactive trail maps, tracks your stats, Finds Your Friends on the mountain, shares lift line status times, provides real-time mountain alerts, and more.
Now in its second year, My Epic Gear is better than renting and easier than owning. Guests can join for a seasonal membership fee, which then unlocks access to the latest gear from the top brands, including more than 60 of the latest ski and snowboard models. You can reserve in advance in the My Epic app for a low daily use fee that includes slopeside pick-up and drop-off at one of 12 participating resorts.
