Extraordinary Events
Winter at Beaver Creek Resort is more than a season, it’s a celebration. From the adrenaline of Birds of Prey World Cup races to intimate chef-led dinners and lively village festivals, each one-of-a-kind event blends alpine adventure with elevated experiences.
- Experience the Olympics at the 2025 Birds of Prey (Dec. 4-7): Ranked as the top destination by athletes and coaches, the Beaver Creek Stifel Birds of Prey Audi FIS Ski World Cup is back with an exciting weekend of men’s racing from December 4-7, 2025. Join us as we celebrate “Where Winter Begins” in North America with a festive BC World Cup event. This year’s event will feature live music, beer tastings, ski films, parties, and much more, all taking place in the vibrant Beaver Creek Village along the lively “Birds of Prey Way.”
 
- The Alpine Table (Jan. 16-17): Beaver Creek Resort’s signature culinary event, The Alpine Table, returns this winter with an elevated and expanded experience. Building on the success of last year’s chef-led collaboration, this season’s event introduces new experiential elements at Allie’s Cabin, January 16-17. Guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind, multi-course tasting menu created in partnership between a MICHELIN-recognized Colorado restaurant and Beaver Creek’s acclaimed fine dining cabin culinary team. Stay tuned for exciting news about an exclusive pop-up experience, featuring highlights from The Alpine Table.
 
- Opening Week (Nov. 26-29): Start the season at Beaver Creek Resort November 26, 2025 with the Beaver Creek Cookie Competition. Later that week, the holidays begin with the Tree Lighting and Ice Spectacular on November 28th, followed by a Holiday Market on the 28th and 29th.
 
- New Years Eve (Dec. 31): Festivities continue December 31 with the resort’s annual New Years’ Eve Ski Down with more than 200 skiers to light up the early evening slopes at 6:00pm. Then stroll through the village and catch a unique Winter Circus filled with aerialists, contortionists, jugglers, break dancers, fire dancers and more. Cap the evening off at 10:00pm with a spectacular fireworks display.  
 
- Talon’s Challenge Presented by Helly Hansen (Feb. 21-22): Returning February 21-22, conquer more than 26,000’ of vertical down 14 of the toughest black and double black diamond runs on the mountain. Participants who rip down all fourteen runs will earn the coveted patch for completing the challenge, killer swag, and all kinds of bragging rights. 
 
- First Tracks Presented by Helly Hansen: Experience the mountain like never before with exclusive early access to the slopes, long before the lifts open to the public. Guided by expert hosts, guests receive personalized terrain recommendations, followed by a gourmet breakfast at one of Beaver Creek’s luxurious on-mountain dining cabins. - Thursday Night Lights: Every Thursday throughout the season from December 18 to March 26, Beaver Creek invites you to join us for the Thursday Night Lights ski down. Skiers and snowboarders that are level 4 or above are encouraged to register in the afternoon and be a part of this spectacular show. As part of this weekly event, guests will be delighted with a fireworks display from the top of the mountain, following the ski down.
Beaver Creek Culinary
Beaver Creek Resort continues to elevate its reputation as a premier culinary destination, now featured in the MICHELIN Guide Colorado with three recommended restaurants: Mirabelle and Splendido at the Chateau. The resort also offers three distinct mountaintop cabin dining experiences: Beano’s Zach’s, and Allie’s Cabins. Each cabin is only accessible by open-air sleigh. From gourmet breakfasts after first tracks to Northern Italian dinners at Allie’s, communal fondues at Zach’s and the classic Rocky Mountain luxury of Beano’s Cabin, Beaver Creek Resort delivers unforgettable alpine dining that’s anything but rustic. Guests arrive by open-air sleigh to a cozy log cabin where vaulted ceilings, a roaring hearth, and panoramic views set the stage for Executive Chef Mackenzie Nicholson’s gourmet menu and award-winning wine list. - Dinner at Allie’s Cabin: One of Beaver Creek’s most charming mountaintop dining experiences, Allie’s Cabin, overlooks the village below. Offering a cozy, refined setting paired with classic Northern Italian cuisine from Executive Chef Jillian Shaw, Allie’s is the perfect blend of alpine intimacy and culinary sophistication.
 
- Dinner at Zach’s Cabin: Perched high above Bachelor Gulch, Zach’s Cabin offers starlit sleigh rides and uninterrupted views. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and refined Alsatian-inspired cuisine, Executive Chef Jonathan Alonso crafts seasonal dishes paired with exceptional vintages. It’s fine dining at elevation and perfect for groups seeking a lively, unforgettable evening.

- Cookie Time: Beaver Creek is known for its beloved Cookie Time! Freshly baked, warm and gooey cookies meet skiers, snowboarders and village visitors every afternoon at 3:00 pm at the bottom of Haymeadow and Centennial Express Lifts. Delectable, melt-in-your-mouth cookies have been a Beaver Creek staple for many years, with more than 500,000 cookies baked each season. What’s not to love? 
 
- Beaver Creek Cookie Cabin: A Beaver Creek tradition rises to new heights at Red Buffalo Park’s Cookie Cabin, open to ALL guests. Anyone can stop in for chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa throughout the day. Designed to welcome kids and adults in a comfortable and cozy environment, the Cookie Cabin offers the perfect sweet treat between exhilarating runs in Red Buffalo Park. Stay tuned on Beaver Creek’s Instagram to discover additional pop-up sips and treats!
 
- The Ice Cream Parlour: Located at the top of Haymeadow Express Gondola (#1) and conveniently next to Haymeadow Park learning terrain, the Ice Cream Parlour offers nostalgic ice cream novelties, or a quick soup and sandwich lunch. Menu offerings include root beer floats, ice cream by the scoop, house-made hot chocolate, grilled cheese, tomato soup, and more. It’s the perfect stop after a morning or afternoon of learning to ski and snowboard!
 
- Beaver Creek Candy Cabin: The Beaver Creek Candy Cabin gained fast fame among guests when it opened its doors during winter 2014/15. Located at the top of Strawberry Park Express and directly outside an entrance to McCoy Park, the Cabin’s vintage candy store design of yesteryear invites kids and kids-at-heart to explore myriad palate-pleasing sweets – and to discover local artisan craft chocolates found exclusively at the Candy Cabin. It’s the sweetest place at 9840’.
Vibrant Village Offerings
- Hawk’s Nest Cabin: The Cabin with an Edge. This is a custom-designed retreat for teenage guests. At Hawk’s Nest Cabin, you can be yourself in a special club for the under-18 crowd, with a modern alpine-cabin vibe all its own. Featuring custom, one-of-a-kind decor, craft non-alcoholic beverages, music, arcade and table games, a ski simulator, lounge spots, plenty of charging stations, and a whole lot more. It’s where the fun picks up off-mountain and after hours until it’s time to start all over again.
 
- Eager Beaver Adventure Company Scavenger Hunt: The Eager Beaver Adventure Company Scavenger Hunt guides participants throughout the Village in a series of challenges designed for kids aged 7-14, but fun for the whole family! Key to the experience - “Adventure Kits” available from lodging property front desks, which include an adventure guide and souvenir Cookie Compass that unlocks solutions to certain challenges.
Beaver Creek’s Industry-Leading Children’s Ski and Snowboard School
- NEW! Starting this December, Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek Resort, Keystone Resort and Breckenridge Ski Resort will be launching a new technology in the My Epic app that takes Ski and Ride School to the next level. With innovative new features, parents and students can easily check in for lessons, receive real-time updates and photos, track progress, and celebrate milestones and skills with digital badges, all from the convenience of their phone.

Beaver Creek Resort’s Signature Park Collection redefined the beginner and family ski experience with thoughtfully designed terrain that blends learning, adventure, and breathtaking alpine beauty. From the serene glades of McCoy Park to the high-alpine views of Red Buffalo Park and the playful features of Haymeadow Park, each area is purpose-built to help guests of all ages and abilities fall in love with the mountains.
- McCoy Park: During the 2021/22 Winter season, Beaver Creek added 250 acres of lift-served, welcoming ski terrain for beginner and intermediate skiers & riders to elevate their mountain experience. The McCoy Park investment is a commitment to the guest experience which will delight skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. A dedicated family friendly learning zone with an amazing natural feel, including signature groomed, gladed trails, McCoy Park is a place for the entire family to connect with nature and each other in an accessible bowl setting. As the third installment of the Signature Parks Collection, McCoy Park offers 17 trails serviced by two new lifts, while maintaining snowshoe and cross-country areas. McCoy Park comes with a new warming hut – Eaton Haus – offering a view of the Colorado Rockies that most guests have never seen before.
 
- Red Buffalo Park: To improve the experience for beginner and intermediate skiers and further establish Beaver Creek Resort as the world’s premier luxury family resort, Beaver Creek debuted a new 200-acre family learning area accessed by a high-speed lift in Dec. 2017. Red Buffalo Park, located at the mountain’s highest elevation, 11,440 feet, provides 13 trails designated as a family adventure zone and features family-friendly amenities such as snow sculptures, Kids Adventure Zones, and a dedicated Ski School Skills Zone. At the heart of the experience, the new Red Buffalo Express Lift (#5), a high-speed quad, allows for easier access to the dedicated beginner terrain while decreasing lift lines and providing a shorter, 4.3-minute ride to the top of the mountain. Red Buffalo Park ensures that beginner skiers and riders get to experience the best views on the mountain.
 
- Haymeadow Park: Beaver Creek Resort debuted a second signature learning area in 2018/19. At the heart of Haymeadow Park are a beginner gondola and lift, Haymeadow Express Gondola (#1) and Highlands Lift (#2), plus adjacent magic carpets designed for beginner skiers and riders of all ages. Beaver Creek’s innovative learning terrain is designed to create the most enjoyable beginner experience with terrain features perfectly sculpted to ensure a guests’ first skiing and riding experience is positive. Terrain improvements include a learning area with a beginner racecourse, Buffalo Bumps and Berms, and ske-cology environmental learning.
Experience it All on the Epic Pass
- NEW! Now offering Epic Friend Tickets: Season-long Pass Holders will receive 6-10 Epic Friend Tickets, depending on when they purchase their Pass. Epic Friend Tickets provide 50% off lift tickets at the company's 37 North American resorts for the 2025/26 winter season. In addition, friends can apply 100% of the cost of one redeemed Epic Friend Ticket toward an eligible 2026/27 Epic Pass. Just like the Epic Pass, Epic Friend Tickets can be purchased through EpicPass.com and then activated in the My Epic app for direct-to-lift access, cutting out the need to stand in line at the ticket window.
