THE WHISTLER BLACKCOMB EXPERIENCE:
Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia is North America’s largest ski resort offering year-round adventure for all ages and skill levels. Powder hounds, glade lovers and groomer aficionados won’t want to miss big mountain skiing and riding as winter brings an unmatched variety of terrain. With more than 8,000 skiable acres, 200+ runs, 16 alpine bowls and three glaciers, all serviced by 35 lifts - including the one-of-a-kind PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, there's something for everyone.
SHARED TERRITORIES: LIL’WAT NATION AND SQUAMISH NATION:
Whistler Blackcomb operates on the shared unceded territories of the Lil'wat Nation and Squamish Nation who have lived on these lands since time immemorial. Our team has deep gratitude for the opportunity to live and work in this beautiful place, colonially known as Whistler. This is a gift that is shared with both the Lil̓wat7úl and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh. We encourage all guests of the resort to visit our friends at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre for an opportunity to respectfully learn about these lands, their people and culture.

It’s a celebration of the bold spirit, iconic terrain, and deep Canadian roots of North America’s largest mountain resort. Join us as we honour the athletes, Olympians, pioneers, and visionaries who shaped Whistler Blackcomb, through stories that highlight the people, places, and moments that define it. It’s all part of a year of notable milestones, including:

Explore Wonder Routes, a curated network of trails, waypoints, and stops designed to help guests uncover the hidden gems of Whistler Blackcomb in the winter. Whether the goal is to take in the best mountain views, to find the hidden powder stashes, to enjoy mellow blue runs, visit the family-oriented runs, or hit every après spot - the seven Wonder Routes provides something for everyone. And just in time for an Olympic year, explore the Gold Medal Route — an intermediate-to-advanced trail tracing the legacy of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, from the Dave Murray Downhill to Whistler Creekside’s Timing Flats, where a sign honors the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games gold medalists, alongside the original Olympic rings. Each route follows a colour-coded path with turn-by-turn directions, guiding you through stunning viewpoints and landmarks for a seamless, accessible experience tailored to any type of skier/snowboarder.

WINTER SIGHTSEEING:
At 436m/1,427ft above the valley floor, the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is one of the world’s highest lift of its kind and a marvel of engineering linking Blackcomb Gondola to the Village Gondola in one continuous lift system. Explore the mountains free from the weather outside and stop in Whistler’s Roundhouse for access to Steeps and the Umbrella Bar or enjoy a fine dining experience on Blackcomb at Christine’s Restaurant. All this is available while taking in beautiful 360-degree views of the Coast Mountain range.
Last winter, in honour and recognition of the First Nations, we collaborated with artists from the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation, transforming gondola cabins on the PEAK 2 PEAK into one-of-a-kind works of art that celebrate and elevate Indigenous culture. Be sure to check out the Gondola Gallery on your sightseeing journey!
WHISTLER HELI-SKI
Back in 1981 five guys who loved skiing, powder and big mountains got together and started Whistler Heli Skiing! 45 years later, they're still at it; fatter skis, faster helicopters and guides whose tenures span decades. From the 'Intro to Heli Skiing' package with two guides to teach you the ins and outs to the Astar Ultimate package, for experts that want to ski / ride from start to finish without counting runs, this winter at Whistler Heli Skiing, you can go farther.
Can you imagine carving turns down majestic mountains with just you and your friends? Imagine having an area 50 times the size of Whistler Blackcomb to do it in? How would you choose where to go next? At Whistler Heli-Skiing, our guides have been making these tough choices for our guests for 44 bliss-filled years. An exclusive heli-ski tenure that covers 432,000 acres and holds more than 173 glaciers, we do high alpine heli skiing and riding better than anybody. Don’t leave Whistler without this bucket list experience!
DAWN PATROL
Dawn Patrol is a unique offering exclusive to guests of Whistler Heli Ski when we are unable to fly, or to anyone as a standalone product. It is a First Tracks Experience made possible by the unique proximity of our heli ski operation to Whistler Blackcomb. When unable to fly, guests will meet their guide and load ahead of regular opening, being the first to access Blackcomb Mountain for the day! The group is led by our experienced guides, skiing and riding runs before anyone else. Once the crowds arrive, guests enjoy lift line priority for the rest of the tour – a great opportunity to learn favourite local stashes, improve technique ahead of heli-skiing, and have a unique and elevated experience on Whistler Blackcomb.
