- Donate a winter coat and receive 50% off your individual dinner bill at the Alpenglow Stube and Der Fondue Chessel
Keystone, Colo. — Nov. 23, 2015 — With the holiday season just around the corner, Keystone Resort will host its Annual Outpost Dining Coat Drive on the weekends of Dec. 4-5 and 11-12 to benefit the Family Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC). Guests who donate a winter coat will receive 50% off their individual dinner bill (food only) at Keystone’s signature on-mountain restaurants, the Alpenglow Stube and Der Fondue Chessel.
“The Annual Outpost Dining Coat Drive provides a great opportunity for guests to give back to the local community this holiday season and enjoy a fantastic discount at two of Keystone’s most unique mountain dining experiences,” said Brian Haemmerle, general manager of the Outpost at Keystone. “Last year we collected and donated 179 coats to help local families in need here in Summit County and this year our goal is to reach at least 200 coats.”
Located in the Outpost at the top of Keystone’s North Peak, and accessed by two gondola rides, the Alpenglow Stube and Der Fondue Chessel offer unique dining experiences for the whole family at 11,444 feet.
Alpenglow Stube is the highest AAA Four-Diamond™ dining experience in North America and the restaurant’s award-winning chefs serve contemporary cuisine with a Bavarian accent to complement the unique, secluded setting. Der Fondue Chessel offers a fun and authentic on-mountain fondue experience, whether it’s dinner for two or a group gathering. Both restaurants open for the winter season on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
All guests in the party must bring a coat to donate in order for everyone at the table to receive the discount, and no other discounts will apply. Coats must be donated on the night you are dining and dinner reservations are required.
