Skiers and Snowboarders Treated to a Powder Day at Vail Mountain
Vail Mountain, one of the largest ski resorts in the world, officially reported 5” of new snow at 5 a.m., and with continuous snowfall throughout the morning, the powder has continued to pile up out on the slopes.
Currently skiers and snowboarders have access to more than 800 acres of terrain across the front side of Vail Mountain. With the addition of new snow today, the resort anticipates opening up more terrain soon, including Golden Peak and the Riva Bahn Express Lift (#6), Game Creek Bowl and the Game Creek Express Lift (#7), and the Sourdough Express Lift (#14).
