Noel Nights at Northstar, Beginning Dec. 1, 2011
The first three Thursdays in December, Northstar presents Noel Nights. The Village at Northstar will be festive with a 35-foot tree and holiday trees throughout the Village decorated by local school children. The event will feature ice skating (bring a can of food for a local food bank and skate rentals are free!), s’mores around the fire pits, carolers, one-horse sleigh rides, holiday shopping deals and much more!

Chocolate Village at Keystone Lodge & Spa – Dec. 15, 2011 – Jan. 2, 2012
Be sure not to miss this delicious homemade creation from Keystone Resort’s Pastry Chef Ned Archibald. This handcrafted holiday tradition features 2,500 pounds of chocolate crafted into a miniature alpine village, a working chocolate gondola, a cascading chocolate waterfall, 6 foot tall white chocolate Christmas tree with chocolate presents. This mouth watering creation gets a special new addition every year; check in to see what this year’s addition will be!

Winter Dew Tour Nike Open
Winter Dew Tour featuring a 22-foot Olympic size Halfpipe, Dec. 16 – 19, 2011
For the fourth consecutive year, the Winter Dew Tour kicks off the season at Breckenridge! Punctuating the resort’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, the Winter Dew Tour will bring excitement and action from the world’s top athletes to Peak 8 this December. The event will air live on NBC for the first stop of the Winter Dew Tour. Making stops throughout the US, the Winter Dew Tour consists of three major, multi-sport events, each featuring snowboard (superpipe and slopestyle) and freeskiing (superpipe and slopestyle). The Tour has a cumulative points system and a $1.5 million competitive purse, and at season’s end crowns the overall point’s leader in each discipline, awarding them the prestigious Dew Cup.
 
Vail Family Holidaze, Dec. 17 – 25 and 31, 2011
Vail Family Holidaze is the perfect time and place for families to celebrate the season as the resort comes alive with lights, sounds, events and the cheer of the holiday season during December. From holiday concerts, world-class ice skating shows with world champion and Olympic skaters like Patrick Chan, Kids Zone activities and New Year’s Eve entertainment, there’s no more festive atmosphere in which to spend quality time with the family than Vail. Beaver Creek Loves Kids and 1st Annual Winterfest – Dec. 18, 2011 – Jan. 1, 2012
Beaver Creek Resort presents the 1st annual Winterfest celebration this holiday season as part of the popular family program, Beaver Creek Loves Kids. Winterfest will take place from Dec. 18, 2011 – Jan. 1, 2012 and will be a grand celebration of all that is magical about the holidays and winter in the mountains. The two week event will feature theatrical elements and decoration, and interactive family events and activities that are designed to animate Beaver Creek Village and bring the winter and holiday spirit to life. Beaver Creek Loves Kids Winterfest also will feature a great lineup of family events and activities including daily appearances from Santa, a Kids Winter Wonder parade, Disco Skate Nights, figure skating performances, an Animals of Winter presentation by the Denver Zoo, torchlight ski downs, fireworks and more. In addition to Winterfest, Beaver Creek Loves Kids will take place during other holidays throughout the season including President’s Week Feb. 18-25, 2012, Spring Break March 10-31, 2012 and Easter week April 1-7, 2012.
 
Heavenly Holidays Features 13 Days of Festive Events, Dec. 19 –31, 2011
For 13 days, Heavenly Village will be teeming with the sights, sounds and smells of the holidays as Heavenly Holidays 2011 from Dec. 19-31 treats guests to a variety of festive events from ice skating and sculpting to a uniquely Heavenly countdown to the New Year. From 2:00-7:00 p.m. on Dec. 19-24, children can have their photos taken with jolly old St. Nick inside Santa’s Workshop Snow Globe, a 16-foot interactive snow globe complete with an on-site disc jockey playing holiday music. A four-day concert series from Dec. 26-29 will showcase a different band daily, and professional ice skaters will perform at the Heavenly Village Ice Rink on Dec. 29-30. On Dec. 30, “Fear No Ice” will perform a thrilling ice sculpting show. It all leads up to A Heavenly New Year Celebration on Dec. 31 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. that will conclude with a Gondola Ball Drop and spectacular fireworks show. Keystone’s New Year’s Eve Lakeside Village Icestravaganza Celebration
Join Keystone for an Icestravaganza on their five acre outdoor ice rink. Skate the night away under the starry Colorado skies with Frosty the Snowman. Ohh and ahh at the fireworks display over the Lake at 8 p.m. Stop by the Champagne ice bars to toast the New Year, or warm up with a s’mores kit around one of the above ground fireplaces. Participate in the interactive light show projected on the Keystone ice rink. The Adventure Center will be selling hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, popcorn, sodas, hot chocolate & spirits. Edgewater Café in the Keystone Lodge & Spa will be serving a Family Dinner Buffet and complimentary skate rentals are included with the purchase of dinner. Breck Celebrates the New Year with Fireworks and Live Music
Yamn, formerly of Breckenridge, is bringing their annual New Year's Eve show to the Riverwalk Center for an all ages show.  Ring in the New Year in the heart of Breckenridge listening to great music- 3 sets of Yamn.  The Town of Breckenridge New Year's Eve fireworks will be visible from right outside the venue at 9 p.m. and the band will take a quick break to enjoy the fireworks.  Tickets are available at all Yamn Performances, as well as online by clicking here.  
 
Beaver Creek New Year’s Eve Glow Worm Ski Down & Fireworks
Be a part of the tradition as you ski down Beaver Creek Mountain illuminating the snow with glow sticks on New Year’s Eve. After the ski down guests can enjoy a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the entire Village. The ski down event is intended for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders and registration begins at 6:15 p.m. at Children’s Ski School at the base of Beaver Creek. A Heavenly New Year Celebration
Welcome in 2012 with a Heavenly New Year Celebration that includes interactive games and experiences such as snowboard simulators, one-of-a-kind photo experiences, and face and body painting from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Loaded with music, lights, pyrotechnic effects and crowd interaction, the “Fear No Ice – Rock N Roll Show” will be an exciting show unlike any ordinary ice sculpting exhibition. “Band X” will play, and “Firegroove” perform a New Year’s Eve fire show. A beacon in the dark sky, a brightly-lit Heavenly Gondola car will descend from the top of the mountain until a stopping-point above the Village crowd at 9:00 p.m., coinciding with midnight on the East Coast and signaling the beginning of a dramatic New Year’s fireworks show. Unbuckle at Tamarack, Tahoe’s Ultimate Après Party
Located inside Tamarack Lodge at the top of the Heavenly Gondola, Unbuckle at Tamarack will start daily at 3:30 p.m. on December 16-23 and 26-31 and will feature half-price on all drinks and a specialty food menu. A live DJ and dancers will set the tone for the party, as the Heavenly Angels pass out prizes and giveaway items, mingle with guests, and pose for photos. EpicMix Photo will also be on-hand. At 5:30 p.m., the party ends, but the fun still continues, as guests have the unique opportunity to ride Heavenly Gondola down after-dark, when the lights of South Lake Tahoe illuminate the sky.
