KEYSTONE, Colo. – May 31, 2011 – Bacon lovers prepare. Keystone Resort welcomes the essence of fresh bacon throughout the mountain air as the Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour arrives at River Run Village. With over 3,000 pounds of everyone’s favorite pork product, vendors will be lined up to greet guests with samples of their favorite bacon dish. Saturday features live entertainment from Devon Allman’s Honeytribe and Sunday features Yo Momma’s Big Fat Booty Band and Reckless Kelly. Be sure not to miss the “All About Bacon Lecture” and after party on Saturday at Warren Station. $30 bucks gets you unlimited bacon sampling, a free beer and other bacon goodies! Free parking will be available at the River Run parking lots, located just off Gondola Road.
There will be a Kidzone with free face painting, a bouncy house, and gem panning for the kids. Bacon festival participants can golf at Keystone’s award winning courses for $55 after 5pm or after 11am for $75. Bring up to three kid’s golfing after 5pm for free.
