Who We Are

Courtney Myhrum

USGA Executive Committee

Courtney Myhrum, of Pittsburgh, Pa., is in her first year as a member of the USGA Executive Committee.

Courtney’s parents introduced her to the game at age 8 in her hometown in Western Pennsylvania. She immediately developed a lifelong passion for it but did not begin playing competitively until after completing her two-sport collegiate career in field hockey and lacrosse at Denison University. Once she turned her athletic attention to golf, Courtney qualified for 14 USGA championships, including one U.S. Women’s Amateur, one U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball, five U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateurs and seven U.S. Senior Women’s Amateurs between 1986 and 2018.

Driven by her desire to give back to the game, Courtney was introduced to the USGA through a Rules workshop conducted by organization icons and past executive directors P.J. Boatwright and Joe Dey. She began volunteering on the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship Committee in 1998 and has gone on to serve at more than 50 championships through 2019, including multiple U.S. Opens, U.S. Women’s Opens, U.S. Senior Opens and U.S. Women’s Amateurs. Most recently, Courtney served on the USGA Women’s Committee from 2011-2019, including as vice chair in 2017-18 and chair in 2019.

Off the course, Courtney is the owner and president of Organized By Court, a consulting firm that offers custom solutions for individuals, families and small businesses to achieve greater productivity and efficiency.

In 2020, Courtney will serve on the Rules of Golf, Amateur Status, and Handicap Committees.
