NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE) has posted its third-quarter 2024 financial results in a news release.

The board of directors of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE) declared a regular quarterly common stock dividend of $0.515 per share. The dividend is payable on Dec. 16, 2024.

FPL has essentially completed restoration to customers affected by Hurricane Milton. It is important to not that some customers in the pockets most decimated by Milton's storm surge, flooding and tornadoes still cannot safely receive power.

Most of the remaining outages are in the areas that took the brunt of the storm’s destruction. FPL remains laser-focused on restoring power to the approximately 69,000 customers who remain without service.

FPL has restored power to more than 90% of customers affected by Hurricane Milton and is also on track to restore power to all impacted schools by the end of the day today.

FPL has moved up its target of restoring 90% of affected customers to Sunday night rather than its previous target of 90% by Monday night.

FPL has already restored more than 1.3 million customers affected by Hurricane Milton. FPL is now targeting by the end of Monday to restore power to 90% of customers impacted by the Category 3 storm.

FPL crews have already restored nearly 1.3 million customers – that’s nearly two-thirds of all affected customers. FPL remains focused on the 669,000 customers without power, including approximately 85,000 who were impacted by unprecedented tornado activity.

Thanks to the company’s hardening and smart-grid investments and field teams working even as the storm hit, FPL has restored power to more than 730,000 customers.

FPL is prepared to respond to Hurricane Milton as the storm’s powerful feeder bands bring strong winds, heavy rainfall and tornadoes to Florida.
