Cognizant Establishes Dedicated Gemini Enterprise Practice in Collaboration with Google Cloud

Cognizant announced the establishment of a dedicated Gemini Enterprise Practice, in collaboration with Google Cloud, to accelerate enterprise adoption of Gemini Enterprise at scale. Cognizant has also been designated by Google Cloud as a Diamond partner, the highest tier in the Google Cloud partner program, in recognition of its AI Builder approach, combining engineering depth, industry expertise and a proven track record of operationalizing AI in production environments.

Under the program, Cognizant plans to provide forward-deployed engineers, senior engineering talent embedded directly within client environments, working in close collaboration with Google Cloud’s teams to accelerate time to value on Gemini Enterprise deployments. Cognizant aims to also stand up solutions on Google Cloud Marketplace, expanding the portfolio of enterprise-ready offerings available to joint clients. Cognizant is investing directly in Gemini Enterprise certification and skilling across its global delivery teams, building the technical depth to deliver at scale.

“This enhanced approach reflects what Cognizant’s AI Builder strategy is designed to do,” said Annadurai Elango, President, Core Technologies and Insights, Cognizant. “Forward-deployed engineers working directly alongside Google Cloud’s teams, solving real problems in production, on site. We have built this capability, proven it internally and are now accelerating how we bring it to joint clients at scale.”

The collaboration reflects a shared recognition that enterprises need a partner with the engineering depth to bring AI into production at scale and deliver measurable outcomes. Cognizant’s engineering-first model, its growing portfolio of industrialized AI solutions and its own internal deployment of Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace across its global operations, help provide the production experience that clients can draw on directly.

"Scaling AI into production requires an enterprise-ready platform combined with partners who can engineer targeted outcomes directly in the field," said Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud. "Together, we are combining Google Cloud’s advanced agentic capabilities with Cognizant’s implementation expertise to help customers move from AI potential to measurable production impact."

Cognizant’s Gemini Enterprise Practice is already delivering results for joint clients. A leading North American telecommunications provider engaged Cognizant to deploy AI-powered agents targeting billing discrepancies across hundreds of millions in revenue – an initial engagement that has surfaced more than a dozen additional Gemini Enterprise use cases across the client’s operations, spanning revenue recovery, invoice reconciliation and workflow automation.

The announcement builds on an active and expanding portfolio of joint solutions, including the recently announced Cognizant Agentic Retail CX, a purpose-built contact center offering powered by Gemini Enterprise for CX. Cognizant and Google Cloud are also bringing to market the Agentic Employee Platform, a solution designed to deploy AI agents into specific enterprise roles, from project management to marketing to learning and development. Operating under a human-led, agent-operated model, the platform can automate up to 60-70 percent of manual effort within targeted workflows, compressing deployment timelines from quarters to weeks. It represents one of the first industrialized agentic workforce solutions built jointly by Cognizant and Google Cloud.

It also marks the latest milestone in a partnership recognized with Google Cloud Partner of the Year 2026 awards in Global Data & Analytics and Services & Industry Solutions: Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Cognizant’s recognition as a Leader in the Everest Group Google Cloud Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026.
