IBM today announced the evolution and expansion of Qiskit, its globally adopted quantum software. Launched in 2017, Qiskit, as a software development kit (SDK) is an open-source tool that has allowed over 550,000 users to build and run quantum circuits on IBM’s quantum hardware systems, resulting in the execution of over 3 trillion quantum circuits to date.

Today, at ServiceNow’s annual customer and partner event, Knowledge 2024, ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), the AI platform for business transformation, announced a collaboration with IBM (NYSE: IBM) to help accelerate the impact of generative AI (GenAI) across the enterprise. A new integration will combine the power of the Now Platform with IBM watsonx to help boost productivity for mutual customers and partners. ServiceNow will also incorporate watsonx.ai and IBM Granite foundation large language models (LLMs) into its Now Assist GenAI experience for ServiceNow customers.
