IBM Signs 10-year Agreement with ElectraCard Services

One of the largest managed resiliency services deals in India

IBM announced today a 10-year, multi-million dollar agreement with ElectraCard Services (ECS), a leading provider of software solutions for electronic payment systems, for providing business continuity services. The agreement will facilitate unparalleled operational expertise and solution capability for ECS's disaster recovery infrastructure.

IBM will enable ECS to align its IT initiatives, such as risk management, with their continued business requirements to help them focus on core business while reducing capital expenditure. ElectraCard Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Opus Software Solutions, provides business critical applications and third party processing services for credit and payment management across the world.

As part of the agreement, IBM will manage ECS's infrastructure at the disaster recovery site located at IBM's data center in Bangalore as well as their primary IT infrastructure located in Mumbai, making this one of the largest managed resiliency services deals in India.
