Based in the firm’s New Delhi office, Chatrath will lead the Leadership Consulting team in India, offering leadership advisory services to both our key clients in India, and our global accounts with India operations.

Chatrath comes to Heidrick & Struggles with more than 20 years of related experience focusing on the impact of leadership on business performance, talent management, and organization building. While in Leadership Consulting, Chatrath has consulted to a range of blue chip clients, multinational companies and Indian businesses across various industries. Some of the key areas of Institutional building that Chatrath specializes in include creating a robust leadership pipeline, succession planning, and leadership talent benchmarking - all leading to impacting performance and driving organizational excellence.

Prior to consulting, Chatrath held various business development roles across hospitality, retail, and technology sectors. She moved to the people side of the business in 2001, instituting a process-centric approach using models like People Capability Maturity Model (PCMM®); and then transitioned to the behavioral side of leadership and personal effectiveness with Dale Carnegie.

Chatrath is a certified Dale Carnegie trainer, and is a coach to high–potential leaders. She serves as a sub-committee member for Human Resources at CII; and advises MNC and Indian companies on the CII Business Excellence Model. A frequent speaker at many high-profile HR events in India, she is a contributing author to columns in leading business and career publications.

Chatrath holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Delhi University with business management and hotel management qualifications.
