Tokyo, Japan, October 28, 2011 – The Astellas Asia-Oceania Foundation announced that it will make a donation of USD $20,000 to the Thai Red Cross Society to assist with relief efforts after the recent major flooding in Thailand.
The Astellas Asia-Oceania Foundation was established in March 2011 by Astellas Pharma Inc. (Tokyo: 4503) to promote the advancement of health, improvement of local health care systems and to support relief efforts for natural disasters in the Asia and Oceania regions.
Astellas expresses its deepest sympathy for victims of the flooding in Thailand and our thoughts are with those personally affected by the tragedy.
