Kramer Presents Live AV over IP Training Session on December 4

‘AV over IP Made Clear: From Basics to Build’ is a year-end technical session to help attendees prepare for 2026 projects while earning 3.5 CTS credits

CLINTON, N.J., October 14, 2025 — Kramer, a leading provider of audio-visual solutions, will host a live 3.5-hour training session entitled ‘AV over IP Made Clear: From Basics to Build’ on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 am ET.

The webinar is designed for integrators, system designers, consultants and AV/IT managers looking to strengthen their understanding of AV-over-IP systems before 2026 project cycles begin. Participants will earn 3.5 CTS credits for attending the full live session.

Led by Art Weeks, product manager, ZeeVee by Kramer, and Dallas Cozby, senior manager, Products and Solutions at Kramer, the session will cover practical design and deployment techniques including:

  • Key networking concepts for AV over IP, the OSI 7-layer model, IP addressing and multicast behavior
  • How AV data differs from standard network traffic and what that means for network design
  • Choosing appropriate video formats and compression methods based on hardware and bandwidth limits
  • Maintaining accurate site records for troubleshooting and long-term support
  • Configuring managed switches correctly (IGMP, fast-leave, frame size) so AV over IP works reliably at scale

The session will feature a live demonstration of the ZeeVee by Kramer ZyPer4K platform, showing a complete end-to-end IP video system. Attendees will see how switch configuration, device discovery and system management come together in a real-world deployment.

With 2026 installations already in planning, this year-end training offers an opportunity to confirm network designs, validate switch selections and prepare teams for efficient project execution in Q1. Those interested in attending can register via this link.
