Guy Fieri’s Taco Joint - a brand new concept and first of its kind – to debut at Texas Live! on August 9 in the Arlington Entertainment District
ARLINGTON, TX (JULY 23, 2018) – Chef, restaurateur, New York Times Best selling author and Emmy Award winning television host, Guy Fieri, unveiled additional details today for his signature concept at Texas Live! – Guy Fieri’s Taco Joint. Guy Fieri’s Taco Joint will debut with the project when it opens in the Arlington Entertainment District on August 9 joining Arlington Backyard, Live! Arena, PBR Texas, Troy’s, Sports & Social Arlington, Pudge’s Pizza, and Lockhart Smokehouse in anchoring Texas Live!.
“I’m stoked to bring my Taco Joint to Texas Live!,” stated Guy Fieri. “Nothing starts a good party like some killer tacos and a few margaritas and we’re doin’ it all in Arlington. Love, Peace and Taco Grease!”
Located in the heart of Texas Live! with views into Live! Arena, Guy Fieri’s Taco Joint will feature a variety of scratch made tacos, house made salsas and guacamole. Featured menu items include the ‘Al Pastor’ – Shiner Ruby Red glazed pork shoulder tacos with chipotle and sweet onions, grilled pineapple-serrano salsa, cilantro, cotija and avocado-tomatillo salsa, and the ‘Achiote Chicken’ – shredded slow-braised achiote marinated chicken tacos with borracho sauce, pico de gallo, cabbage, cotija and salsa rojo. In addition, the venue will feature a full bar and will serve up scratch made margaritas, a selection of Mexican beer and some classic Guy concoctions.

The Grand Opening celebration for Texas Live! will take place August 9 – 12 in the Arlington Entertainment District. Grand Opening festivities for Texas Live! will kick off Thursday, August 9 with national recording artist and Dallas-Fort Worth native, Toadies, performing on the Arlington Backyard stage. The celebration will continue throughout the weekend with a packed line up of live music and entertainment, events and activities for the entire community. About Guy Fieri
Guy Fieri, chef, restaurateur, New York Times bestselling author and Emmy Award-winning host began his love affair with food at the age of ten, selling soft pretzels from a three-wheeled bicycle cart he built with his father called “The Awesome Pretzel Cart.” After selling pretzels and washing dishes for six years, Guy earned enough money to pursue his dream of studying abroad as an exchange student in Chantilly, France. He continues to support numerous charities including his own, Cooking with Kids, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Best Buddies International. Guy resides in Northern California with his family.
