ARLINGTON, Texas – Mary German, Senior Vice President of Operations at the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been selected as one of Dallas Business Journal’s honorees for the new Women in Tourism category.
German, a 29-year veteran in the tourism industry, has been at the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau since 1991, where she has led several departments and initiatives. Among her designations, she is a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA), a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) –the highest educational achievement for destination marketing and management executives by Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI)—as well as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).

She will be honored in a special publication of the Dallas Business Journal on August 26, at a special dinner alongside program alums on July 14, and at an awards event luncheon and trade show on August 22.
