For those travelers who enjoyed Arlington this summer, it's time to make plans to return! And for those who missed the opportunity, now is a perfect time to come. Nine hotels, two restaurants, Six Flags Over Texas, and the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau banded together to create "Bounce Back to Arlington," a program where visitors can receive impressive discounts off rooms, fall festivals and meals September 1 through December 2002.
Arlington's finest hotel partners are guaranteeing at least twenty-five percent or more off regular room rates: Wyndham Arlington, Hilton Arlington, Holiday Inn Arlington, Courtyard by Marriott, Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, Hawthorn Suites Hotel, Best Western Great Southwest Inn, Wingate Inn- Arlington, and Days Inn. Spend time with family and let housekeeping take care of the work!
Six Flags Over Texas entertains guests in the autumn and winter months with three fun festivals. In September, Texas Heritage Festival is a turn-of- the-century crafts village with artisans and craftfolk from throughout the Southwest. Live musical performances of the era set the mood for shopping and tasty homemade food. October brings Six Flags Fright Fest, a monster bash with haunted houses and spooky shows. Each festival is $10 off the main gate price. Six Flags Holiday In the Park, November 29-December 29, is a winter wonderland with thousands of twinkling lights, shows and festive food. Enjoy the holidays with a two-for-one ticket offer.
Taste a bit of Texas at two restaurants, Trail Dust Steak House and Texas Land & Cattle Steak House, at a twenty percent discount on all food purchases.
"Our visitors always leave Arlington with good memories," says Kay Webb, Director of Tourism of the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau. "We are known for fun. So introducing them to our fall and winter seasons with these offers is our gift to families across the central and southern states."
