CVS/Pharmacy Commits $500,000 to School for Deaf Children

The Learning Center for Deaf Children (TLC), in Framingham and Randolph, MA is pleased to announce a $500,000 donation from CVS/pharmacy. This charitable contribution will fund the new CVS/pharmacy Library and Media Center at TLC's Framingham campus with an annex at the Randolph campus.

The new CVS/pharmacy Library and Media Center will provide extensive traditional and state-of-the-art materials and Services that will benefit the students and families of TLC and the entire community. The center will be the hub for numerous deaf and hard- of- hearing community outreach programs such as educational forums for parents, conferences and seminars on education and curriculum, and interpreted cultural programming.

Michael J. Bello, TLC's Executive Director stated, "We are euphoric! This is the single largest gift our school has ever received. The addition of a state- of-the-art library and media center is the final piece in our establishment of a comprehensive academic educational program here at TLC."

"The generosity of CVS/pharmacy in making this $500,000 gift to The Learning Center for Deaf Children positively affects Deaf Education and the acquisition of knowledge and information for both the deaf and hearing communities of Eastern Massachusetts," continued Bello.
