CBOT INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY TRADING SCHEDULE

CHICAGO, June 16, 2006 – The Chicago Board of Trade has established the following trading schedule in connection with the Independence Day holiday:

Monday, July 3

• Open auction:  Financial contracts will close at 12:00 p.m.  Stock Index contracts will close at 12:15 p.m.  Agricultural contracts will close at their normal times.
• Electronic trading:  Dow/AIG Commodity Index ^SM contracts will close at 12:00 p.m.  Stock Index and Metals contracts will close at 12:30 p.m.  Financial contracts will close at 1:00 p.m.  Agricultural contracts will close at their normal times.
• Overnight trading will be closed.

Tuesday, July 4

• All pit trading and electronic trading will be closed.  Electronic e-cbot trading will reopen at normal evening times.
