CLT hosted its final drop-in style public meetings for the Part 150 Study Update on Sept. 18 at Goodwill Opportunity Campus and Sept. 19 at Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte.
Informational boards were on display identifying the status of the Part 150, the work completed to date, and the next steps in the process.
Aviation staff and noise consultants were at both sessions to answer questions and provide information regarding the study. The events drew 57 attendees.
This was the third series of public engagements for the Part 150. CLT hosted two meetings last year.
The Part 150 establishes procedures, standards and methodologies to be used by airport operators for the preparation of Airport Noise Exposure Maps and Airport Noise Compatibility Programs.
