Charlotte Douglas International Airport is operating normally following Hurricane Ian.
Passengers are encouraged to check with their airlines for the latest information about delays, cancellations or rescheduled flights.
As a reminder, the upper-level roadway is closed due to construction. All traffic is being directed to the lower-level. Please allow extra time due to traffic congestion when picking up or dropping off. Read more information about the roadway closing.

CLT is closely monitoring weather conditions from Hurricane Ian. Airlines are reporting flight cancelations and delays, mainly out of Florida at this time. Passengers should check with their airline on the status of their flight before heading to the Airport.
Charlotte Douglas officials will continue conducting on-going meetings with its airlines and various partners throughout the storm.
In preparation of heavy rain and high winds, the Airport has cleared airfield drains to ensure flooding is minimized. Cranes have been taken down and equipment has been secured on construction sites. Airport roofers and maintenance staff remain on standby.
