Seventh consecutive ranking as best provider for private label services in Global Finance magazine’s annual Treasury & Cash Management survey

NEW YORK, March 3, 2014 — BNY Mellon, a global leader in investment management and investment services, has been ranked global winner as best Treasury & Cash Management White Label System provider by Global Finance magazine. Appearing in the March issue of Global Finance, this year’s recognition marks the seventh consecutive year that BNY Mellon has topped the magazine’s annual private label system provider ranking.

Global Finance used a multi-tiered assessment process – including a readers’ poll, input from industry analysts, corporate executives, technology experts and independent research – to select this year’s best providers of treasury and cash management services. A variety of subjective and objective criteria were considered, including profitability, market share and reach, customer service, competitive pricing, product innovation and differentiation around core service delivery.

Pointing out that technological advances are giving treasurers increasingly sophisticated options, Global Finance editor Andrea Fiano noted that, “Many local banks are stepping up their game, building their regional presence by partnering with global banks to provide one-stop shopping support for corporate clients.”

"Private label solutions are a great way for banks to manage costs and risks in an increasingly complex regulatory and technological environment,” said Greg Malosh, managing director and head of Information and Liquidity Products for BNY Mellon’s Treasury Services group. "Allowing our client banks to provide leading edge solutions while focusing their time and resources on client needs and priorities, our private label services make an important contribution to their competitive positioning and financial success.”

BNY Mellon's private label offerings leverage the product, client support and technology strengths of BNY Mellon’s Treasury Services group, allowing private label clients to access a sophisticated array of treasury services while minimizing the costs and operational complexities associated with product development and platform and system enhancements.
