NEW YORK, November 5, 2013 — BNY Trust Company of Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary of BNY Mellon, has appointed Paul Kamin as vice president and business development officer for Eastern Canada, with responsibility for increasing the company's sales and relationship coverage throughout the Ontario, Quebec and Maritime provinces. Kamin is based in the Toronto office and reports to Dan Gosselin, president and CEO of BNY Trust Company of Canada.

Kamin joins the company from CIBC Wholesale Banking where he spent seven years as director and head, Americas Region, with responsibility for managing financial institution wholesale banking relationships across North and South America. Prior to joining CIBC, he spent two years at Norwest Bank in Milwaukee and eight years with TD Bank in Toronto in various senior roles including commercial banking, financial planning, asset management, and relationship management coverage of financial institutions in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America.
