BNY Mellon Appoints Eric Pulinx as Chief Financial Officer of BNY Mellon’s European Bank

BRUSSELS, September 3, 2013 – BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has named Eric Pulinx as Chief Financial Officer of its European banking entity The Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV, subject to regulatory approval.

Pulinx has a wealth of experience in the Belgium financial services industry. He joins after four years with bpost Bank (Belgian Postal Bank), where he was latterly Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer and a Member of the Executive Committee. Previously Pulinx spent over 10 years with KPMG where he was Senior Manager and recognized statutory auditor on the audit of several significant European banks. He is also President of the Prudential Affairs Committee of Febelfin (the Belgian National Bankers Association), a member of the Accounting Committee and participates in liquidity and stress testing working groups. He was appointed a Board Member of Febelfin Academy in April 2012.
