BNY Mellon Pledges Support for Dress for Success Dublin

DUBLIN, 28 November 2012 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, last week presented a cheque worth €17,000 in support of women's charity and not-for-profit organisation, Dress for Success Dublin.

Dress for Success is an international organization whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing them with professional attire, a network of support and career development tools.

This financial support is a BNY Mellon Corporate Philanthropy grant and was presented to Sonya Lennon, founder of Dress for Success Dublin by Joe Duffy, BNY Mellon's Country Executive for Ireland.

"We are committed to partnering with communities where our employees live and work, and Dress for Success Dublin presents us with a unique opportunity to do that. Speaking at the presentation Sonya Lennon added: "The purpose of this incredibly generous grant is to support the organisations mission to promote the economic independence of women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. We provide wardrobe and interview preparation services, employment retention programs and training consultation and thanks to this donation, we hope to continue to have the exponential accomplishments that we have experienced to date."
