BNY Mellon Named Irish Fund Administrator of the Year in the ACQ Global Awards 2012

Nov 5, 2012

LONDON, November 5, 2012 — BNY Mellon*, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has been named 'Ireland – Fund Administrator of the Year' in ACQ magazine's 2012 Global Awards.

Commenting on the award, Rachel Turner, head of BNY Mellon's funds servicing business in Dublin, said: "Innovative, flexible solutions and a client-focused approach have ensured that the Irish funds industry is at the forefront of change over the last decade and are the primary reasons why total assets under administration surpassed the EUR2 trillion mark earlier this year.

"BNY Mellon is no different in that our core priority is to understand our clients' needs and respond to them.  We pride ourselves on providing solutions to clients' challenges and requirements. I'd like to thank the readers of ACQ for recognising BNY Mellon as a leader in fund administration, and everyone within our Asset Servicing business for their continued dedication and hard work," added Turner.

"The winners represent the very best in their field from around the world and BNY Mellon truly deserves the accolade of 'Ireland – Fund Administrator of the Year'," said Jake Robson, Editor in Chief of ACQ. "All category winners are in effect, a brand.  In one sense, perhaps the most important sense, a brand is a promise. You know what you're going to get with a well-branded product or service. It takes a lot of time, money and very hard work to build and maintain great brands, brands that can speak volumes in just a few syllables. It's shorthand for what you are. All category winners in the ACQ Global Awards 2012 represent this ethos and this year, our dedicated subscribers have once again recognised the genuine leaders in the market."

The ACQ Global Awards have presented accolades to the business world's best and brightest firms for the last eight years. The full list of winners will soon be announced at www.acqmagazine.com & www.FT.com.
