BNY Mellon Adds Two Industry Veterans to Its Atlanta Wealth Management Office

Senior Private Banker Jonathan Blackwood and Senior Sales Director David Noosinow Serve Georgia Market

NEW YORK and ATLANTA, November 1, 2012 — The wealth management business of BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has hired two financial services professionals at its Atlanta office.

Reporting to Regional Private Banking Director Lisa Simington, Jonathan Blackwood is a senior private banker responsible for leading and growing BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s private banking activities in Georgia. Senior Sales Director David Noosinow reports to Regional Sales Manager-Mid-Atlantic & Central Garrett Alton in Atlanta where he plays a key role in business development efforts throughout Georgia as well as in the Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky, markets.

Blackwood joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management from Wells Fargo where he held increasingly responsible positions for more than 20 years, most recently as a senior vice president and senior private banker for the company’s Atlanta private bank. A Certified Financial Planner, Blackwood earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology from the University of Georgia, and an MBA from Georgia State University. He is board president of Campbell Stone Christian Centers, a senior living community, is board president for Johns Creek Christian Church and a board member for the Atlanta Sail and Powerboat Squadron.

Noosinow who has nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, previously served for seven years as vice president, financial advisor with Bernstein Global Wealth Management in Atlanta, where he developed sales strategies and managed client relationships. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia, a board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Northwest Metro Atlanta and a former community football coach for Whitfield Academy, where he continues to volunteer.
