New York, July 23, 2012 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, today announced that Lynne Marlor has been elected president of The Treasury Management Association of New England (TMANE). A relationship officer in BNY Mellon's Treasury Services group, Marlor previously has served as treasurer and vice president of TMANE.

Active in the financial services industry in the New England region for more than 20 years, Marlor joined BNY Mellon eight years ago following service with JPMorgan Chase predecessor companies First Chicago and Bank One. Specializing in treasury services solutions for financial services companies, including mutual funds, hedge funds, insurance companies and alternative investment clients, she holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University and an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston.

"Throughout my career, I've understood the value of connecting with fellow professionals and staying current on best practices and thought leadership in the industry," Marlor said. "The benefits of TMANE participation are even more important during these tumultuous times, when members need access more than ever to personally relevant, useful information via a cost-effective, efficient delivery channel. We're committed as a leadership team to delivering on that value proposition for our members."

TMANE came into being in the late 1970's, when a group of individuals organized an association of cash management practitioners to be headquartered in the Boston area. The Cash Management Association of New England, CMANE, was formally incorporated in 1981. In 1994, the Cash Management Association of New England became the Treasury Management Association to reflect the broadened responsibilities which cash managers had assumed. With more than 300 members, TMANE is now the largest regional treasury management association in the country.
