Gold rankings among five top-three finishes for BNY Mellon in Trade & Forfaiting Review's 2012 Trade Finance Survey

Medal count puts BNY Mellon in top quartile of banks included in this year's survey

New York and London, 5 July 2012 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has received gold-medal rankings as Best Trade Services Provider and Best Trade Bank in the Middle East. Awarded by Trade & Forfaiting Review, the rankings are based on results from the magazine's 2012 Trade Finance Survey.

In addition to the two gold medal awards, BNY Mellon also achieved top three rankings in three other survey categories. The five top-three survey finishes again put BNY Mellon in the top quartile of banks included in this year's survey. Covering 32 separate trade service and geographic categories, the TFR Awards are based entirely on verified votes from readers of Trade & Forfaiting Review – mainly corporates, banks and other financial institutions involved in international trade finance globally. Complete results of this year's survey will appear in the magazine's July issue.
