BNY Mellon Appoints Kevin Miles as a West Coast Business Development Officer

NEW YORK, June 18, 2012 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has appointed Kevin Miles as a West Coast business development officer with responsibility for corporate and insurance segment sales throughout Southern California, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico. Based in Los Angeles, Miles reports to Mark P. Brown, head of business development for corporate and insurance market segments at BNY Mellon Corporate Trust.

Miles will be responsible for marketing the company's broad scope of corporate trust products and services, including debt administration, escrow agency, collateral management, custody, insurance trust and third party administrative agency, to corporations, intermediaries and arrangers. Miles replaces Miguel Barrios, who was recently named a business development officer for cross border transactions for BNY Mellon Corporate Trust.

Miles was a portfolio manager for BNY Mellon's third party administration agent group after joining the company in 1999. He then led business development for BNY Mellon's third party loan agency business.
