BNY Mellon Appoints Paul Gately and John Lehner to Key Roles Within Outsourcing Business

NEW YORK, May 29, 2012 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has announced the appointment of Paul Gately as head of its global outsourcing business, which encompasses the company's OnCore integrated outsourcing solution.

Gately will report to John Lehner, who recently took responsibility for the strategic oversight of BNY Mellon's outsourcing business, reporting to Lou Maiuri, Head of Global Financial Institutions within the company's Asset Servicing business. Lehner will retain his role as President & CEO of Eagle Investment Systems, based in Boston.

Gately, who is based in New York, has over 25 years' experience in the asset management, trustee and custody spaces working for amongst others Standard Chartered Bank, AIG and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has held two COO roles at large global asset managers and most recently was engaged as a consultant at Eagle, focusing on its outsourcing and insurance services initiatives for BNY Mellon.
