Wealth Advisor to Provide Specialized Wealth Management Expertise

NEW YORK and PHILADELPHIA, November 10, 2011 — BNY Mellon's wealth management business has named Andrew Tepper to join its corps of Wealth Advisors dedicated to working with ultra high net worth families and family offices that typically have highly complex investment, banking and planning needs.

Tepper, a senior portfolio officer in the firm's Philadelphia region, has been with the company since 2008 and was responsible for overseeing more than $600 million in discretionary and trust assets. Previously he served as vice president for Neuberger Berman's private asset management group where he sourced new business, created and implemented investment strategy and was the primary point of contact for all client-related issues.

Reporting to the Wealth Advisor Team Leader Ridgway Powell, Tepper joins a cadre of professionals who support these large clients.

Tepper earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, he is a member of the CFA Institute and the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia, as well as a member of the American Israeli Chamber of Commerce.
