BNY Mellon Appoints James McAuliffe as Head of Global Derivatives

Experienced global markets veteran to head derivatives business of BNY Mellon Global Markets

NEW YORK, June 20, 2011 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, today announced that James McAuliffe has been appointed head of global derivatives. Based in New York and reporting to Art Certosimo, CEO of Global Markets, McAuliffe will be responsible for the derivatives business activities of BNY Mellon Global Markets.

A graduate of Georgetown University, McAuliffe began his service with BNY Mellon’s derivatives team in 1987 following completion of MBA studies at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. In 2004, he was assigned to London as head of derivatives and foreign exchange sales for EMEA. In 2009, his responsibilities were expanded to include Asia-Pacific.
