BNY Mellon Asset Management Makes Senior Appointment To UK Institutional Team

LONDON, 4th May 2011 — BNY Mellon Asset Management has strengthened its institutional business development team with the appointment of Kenneth Tomlin as Director of UK Institutional Business.

Tomlin joins BNY Mellon Asset Management from Dimensional Fund Advisors, where he worked as Head of Institutional Business Development for the UK & Ireland. He has more than 20 years experience in investment management, starting his career as a Eurobond trader for New Japan Securities, a subsidiary of IBJ. For the last 13 years he has worked in institutional sales and business development roles, including as Head of UK, Ireland and Monaco Business Development for Ermitage, as Corporate Sales Director for Aviva Fund Management and as Head of UK Institutional Sales for Société Générale Asset Management.

Tomlin will be responsible for leading UK institutional business development with responsibility for existing as well as new relationships with corporate and local authority pension funds and endowments. He will report to Jonathan Lubran, Executive Director of Institutional Business for BNY Mellon Asset Management.
