Ronald S. Ambrogio Aims to Increase Firm's Ohio Market Share

NEW YORK and CLEVELAND, February 18, 2011 — BNY Mellon Wealth Management has hired Ronald Ambrogio who will steer the firm's growth in the important Ohio market as its new regional president. Based in Cleveland, Ambrogio has overall leadership responsibility for BNY Mellon Wealth Management's investment management, trust and private banking businesses.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has 26 professionals serving the Ohio region and plans to expand its presence in the Columbus and Cleveland market with a few more professional positions in the coming year.

Ambrogio has more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Prior to joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, he was with Key Bank National Association, where he was most recently the national sales manager and responsible for the firm's wealth management division along with managing the wealth management credit division.

Ambrogio earned a bachelor's degree from John Carroll University and, has an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College. He is also a graduate of the University of Virginia's Graduate School of Bank Management and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School - Securities Industry Institute.

A native of Highland Heights, he is involved in his community by serving on the board of directors of the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, and also supports a number of nonprofit organizations and civic groups in the Cleveland community.
