BNY Mellon Appointed Dividend Agent, Transfer Agent, Custodian and Service Provider for New Blackstone / GSO Senior Floating Rate Term Fund

NEW YORK, Nov. 16, 2010 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in asset management and securities servicing, has been appointed dividend agent, transfer agent, custodian and service provider for other related services for the Blackstone / GSO Senior Floating Rate Term Fund, a new closed-end fund that trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "BSL."

In its role, BNY Mellon will provide a variety of services, including the safekeeping of the assets held in the fund, helping to calculate and process dividends, and produce records for shareholder reports.  ALPS Fund Services, Inc. serves as administrator to the Fund and is responsible for calculating the net asset value of the common shares and generally managing the administrative affairs of the fund.
